Glad you’re keeping up with the podcast! Love the intro/exit music. Also, the first letter was awesome!
BSG, I read you because you give it to ‘em straight so I think it’s only fair I do the same to you. I think your advice on the second letter went on a bit long. Maybe try recording a few cuts till you get it down to the essence of what you want to say to the guy. Or, maybe you just need a sidekick to vary the pace up a little bit.
As for celeb advice, I like the concept. However, the all the background info on Sandra B/Jesse J got a little tedious; I am well acquainted with my Sandra Bullock filmography! In addition, you were a little harsh on the tattoo model. I think if the celeb advice is to succeed you need to dig around and find details that aren’t on the cover of People then use it to craft your sagely bit of wisdom.

Hey BSG,
I only occasionaly drop by your site but nevertheless I wanted to say I love, love, LOVE the podcasts! I really hope you continue to stick with them.
Just some thoughts – maybe you could make them a weekly post (or even more often!) with enough content/letters to last 30 minutes? That would make them perfect for listening to while on the train to work or going for the morning jog or whatever.
I also want to say that personally I think the podcasts makes your responses feel a lot more “human” and your personality comes out a lot more than it does in your writing (just my opinion) and I thought this was really, really cool.
I think this stuff is gold and I look forward to more podcasts!

Thanks Matt! The BSG is working out the details of production time (WAY more than he anticipated) and frequency. Hopefully you’ll see more podcasts more frequently AND keep your eyes peeled for a live call-in show one of these days!
